Tom Holland directs this fantasy horror based on the novel by Stephen King. The story follows the exploits of overweight lawyer Billy Halleck (Robert John Burke) who accidentally kills an old gypsy woman with his car. He persuades his fellow lawyers to exonerate him of any blame, but has a curse placed upon him by the chief of the gypsy tribe. When Billy begins to lose weight at an alarming rate, he initially embraces his new-found lust for life, but when he becomes dangerously thin he starts to believe in the curse and begs the gypsy to rescind his words.
