Sean Connery reprises his role as MI6 agent James Bond in this second instalment of the spy action franchise. SPECTRE's leaders want revenge against Bond and make plans to lure him into a fatal trap. High-ranking SPECTRE operative Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya) is overseeing the mission and she recruits Donald Grant (Robert Shaw) to assassinate Bond. Tatiana Romanova (Daniela Bianchi) is an unwitting pawn in the plan and she promises to help Bond steal a Russian cryptography device in exchange for his help in defecting to the West. Bond travels to Istanbul to meet her but when he escapes SPECTRE's trap, Klebb is sent to finish the job herself...
