Hairst is coosed ("The harvest is gathered") collects many (but not all) of Rhoda Bulter's poems in Shetland dialect. It includes poetry from Shaela (1976), A Nev foo a coarn (1977), these two republished as Doobled-up (1978; Link-stanes (1980) and Snyivveries (1986). Other poems are from her recordings Bide a start wi me (1976) and My Kinda Ful (1977). Thirth eight additional poems were previously unpublished or published elsewhere. It does not include poems written in English.
