Dystopian sci-fi action prequel from film-maker George Miller, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth. Set almost two decades prior to the events of 'Mad Max: Fury Road' (2015), the film follows Furiosa (Taylor-Joy) as a young girl, living in the abundant Green Place of Many Mothers. One day, despite her mother's desperate attempts to save her, Furiosa is abducted by a group of raiders when they infiltrate the Green Place. Taken as a slave and forced to grow up under the oppression of the tyrannical warlord Dr. Dementus (Hemsworth), Furiosa quietly hatches a plan to escape and find her way back home, but her path is not without vengeance...
