In 2000, the Norwegian writer and investigative journalist, Alf R. Jacobsen, led the expedition that found and filmed the wreck of the Scharnhorst 1,000ft down in the ocean inside the Arctic Circle. His book tells the story of this important Second WorldWar naval engagement and the rediscovery of the ship.
